Accent Prone is a lifestyle boutique and a unique retail experience for shoppers in Kernersville, North Carolina and surrounding areas. Accent Prone recently celebrated its 10th anniversary after opening its doors in June 2012, and has been a member of the Rowe family of retailers since 2020. Behind Accent Prone is a small, tight-knit group of creative individuals who share a love for design and lots of laughs together. Their favorite days are spent styling store vignettes and finding creative ways to showcase the shop’s products. Above all, the team loves chatting with customers and learning about what design projects they’re working on!

A main aspect of Accent Prone that sets us apart from other furniture retailers is our wide variety of merchandise, including many unique, eclectic offerings that make a statement. Accent Prone retails a mix of furniture market samples, new and antique pieces, as well as upholstered and leather seating designed by the store owners. Aside from our curated collections in the shop, we also offer custom upholstery and an array of design services, including free design help both in-store and online that assists with floral arrangements, putting together items to decorate a mantle, or creating a full tablescape. We also have a thriving boutique under the same roof where we sell apparel, fine jewelry, bath and body products, leather accessories, and other fashion accents. With all of our home and fashion items within the same shop, we proudly offer a unique retail experience to our customers!

What's on your store playlist?

Our store playlist varies from day to day to keep things fresh. We rotate between coffeehouse, pop, country, and anything else with good vibes.

How does your shop make customers feel?

To quote a lovely visitor we once had at Accent Prone, she felt as if she was “walking through a magazine” when in our shop. We strive to offer a showroom-style sales floor of vignettes that encompass a variety of different interior design styles, including but not limited to traditional, bohemian, modern farmhouse, rustic, and transitional. We utilize bright whites and lots of natural light to our advantage to make our vignettes stand out and create the refreshing, airy vibe we love. With new merchandise arriving weekly, there are always new things for even our most frequent visitors to browse and shop.

What are you looking forward to showcasing next season?

With a truckload of product arriving to us weekly, we always have new items hitting the sales floor! We pride ourselves on having something for everyone by carrying merchandise from a wide range of design styles.

Who’s your celebrity dream customer?

Taylor Swift! We love her personality and we all want to be her best friend.
