Kelly Archer Interiors, is an Interior Design firm based in Bakersfield, CA with a retail destination for custom furniture and home accessories called Archer The Storefront. Owner and designer Kelly Archer has a background in interior design that spans over 20 years, and has been working with Rowe since 2010. Her design studio opened in 2017, followed by Archer the storefront in 2020. Their mission is to create a fun & relaxing environment for customers, allowing them to experience a curated collection of interesting items that give your home a sense of identity and history. You can order custom furnishings with or without the help of a designer.

What makes your shop unique?

Our atmosphere! We have fun at work! We laugh, we love what we do and we treat everyone like family. Our biggest customer feedback is, “it’s like shopping with your sister!” Most of us are born and raised in Bakersfield. This city is our home and we consider all our clients our friends.

How does your shop make customers feel?

As the owner, it’s very important to me to hire genuine, passionate, happy people who treat everyone with love and respect no matter who you are. I want everyone who enters our store to feel like they just came into my home. The vibe is welcoming and warm, and the aesthetic is casual and inviting. The goal is happy, satisfied clients who truly feel they have been “loved on”!

What's on your store playlist?

Norah Jones and Michael Buble. I like music that sets the tone...the same kind of music I play at the house when I’m cooking.

What are you looking forward to showcasing next season?

This season we have a variety of Rowe sofas and sectionals, showcasing modular, slipcovers, traditional, and transitional styles. We also have a wonderful selection of chairs and occasional pieces like coffee tables, console tables, and end tables. I love showcasing as many styles as possible for our clients to understand the many options Rowe has to offer! Check out our fabric wall as well to see just how customizable Rowe can be!

Who’s your celebrity dream customer?
