Opened in 1992 in the historic Homewood district of Birmingham, Alabama, At Home Furnishings has been a member of the Rowe family of retailers for 24 years. The shop’s unique offerings are hand picked by the owner and staff to create a boho, “flea market”-inspired style that blends contemporary furnishings with globally sourced finds.

Our store is a combination of beauty and comfort that translates to an eclectic, collected aesthetic presented by people who truly love to give customers their ideal space. The perfect combination of product and service gives our store a unique feel that we are confident you will not find elsewhere!

How does your shop make customers feel?

We like to provide a welcoming experience that makes you feel like you are at home! Our candle section is located right at the entry to create a unique blend of scents, and we encourage our customers to sit and enjoy our furniture and decor.

What's on your store playlist?

On any given day, one would hear a blend of 60s-90s oldies to an adult alternative mix to Leon Bridges or Kings of Leon radio. It's a wide array of tastes, but we love to change it up!

What are you looking forward to showcasing next season?

One of our favorite things we sell and showcase here is Rowe furniture (no lie!!), so we are always excited to see what new frames and fabrics we can get our hands on in the upholstery department.

Who’s your celebrity dream customer?

Our DREAM customer would be Anthony Fauci, hands down!
