Embellish Home is a Bowling Green, KY-area design studio and home decor boutique that represents the shared dream of its co-founders, Lisa Marshall and Natalie Hughes. Interior designer Lisa had dreamed of owning a shop for many years when she met retail store manager and stylist Natalie, and their ambitions soon combined to form Embellish Home in September of 2016. The shop has been a proud member of the Rowe family of retailers from day one, and employs a tight-knit all-female team consisting of sisters Amy & Jennifer, as well as their junior designer, Madison.

What makes your shop unique?

We believe that what makes us unique is not only our style but the personal service you receive from our staff. We love to develop personal relationships with our customers!

How does your shop make customers feel?

We strive to make every customer feel welcome the minute they walk in the door. With all the unique styles displayed in our boutique, we hope our customers walk in and immediately feel so comfortable that they say, "I want my home to feel like this!”

What's on your store playlist?

That depends on our mood...or should I say Madison's mood? She is the youngest associate and likes to pick the playlist for the day. It could be anything from Justin Timberlake to Casting Crowns. If Amy had her way it would always be Christmas music!

What are you looking forward to showcasing next season?

We always get excited about Rowe/Robin Bruce's latest fabric offerings and showcasing the newest colors and artwork in our unique way.

What do you love about working with Rowe?

We love working with Rowe because we know we can get a quality product with so many beautiful fabrics to choose from. Our sales rep has been with the company for many years, and is always so helpful and supportive of our small business.

Why is your location the perfect fit for your shop?

Our town is very supportive of small local businesses. We have been blessed to meet so many awesome people from the community. We are between two larger cities, Nashville and Louisville. We even draw supporters from those cities that prefer shopping in a more intimate setting like ours.

What is the most memorable moment that has occurred in your shop?

For me, the most memorable moment in our store was when we sold our very first sofa. Of course it was a Cindy sectional!

Who’s your celebrity dream customer?

Reese Witherspooon....she is the quintessential Southern girl in a cool hip way. Since she lives right down the road in Nashville, it wouldn't be out of the question, right?! She would be so much fun to hang out with!
