Haven & Company is a home furnishing/furniture store and full-service interior design studio. Owner, Martha McMeekin opened Haven, in downtown Plymouth, in 2001. She entered into the retail and home design business with a love of connecting with people and learning how they live. Martha feels your environment affects the way you feel and live! Beautiful surroundings make you happier, more creative, and productive.

Haven has been a partner of the Rowe family of retailers for eight years. Haven’s customers and design clients love our varied selection of fabrics and finishes. We always have a broad selection of upholstered furniture on our showroom floor. In addition to our furniture, you will find a curated collection of framed art, lighting, rugs, and home accessories. The store’s inventory is ever-changing and always evolving!

What makes your shop unique?

We receive new furniture, furnishings, accessories, and artwork almost everyday! We are constantly restyling and refreshing the store to keep it looking new and interesting, especially for our regulars who pop in often! We want to be known as the place to go and be met with a friendly face and outstanding customer service. We want to create an engaging environment where everyone can find something for their home.

How does your shop make customers feel?

When customers and clients walk into Haven, we want it to be an experience. We want each customer to feel comfortable, welcomed, inspired, and connected. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service and want everyone to shop in an environment where they feel like they are a part of our Haven community.

What are you looking forward to showcasing next season?

Although we still love calming neutrals with texture and pattern, next season we will feature rich and moody color stories intermingled with our classic neutrals.

Why do you love working with Rowe?

We love working with Rowe for many reasons! We can sell Rowe's furniture, confidently, to our clients and customers knowing that the quality, comfort and style will always be steadfast. All of the new fabric, frame and finish options keep our loyal customers coming back and keeps our ordering interesting and fresh. At any given time, Haven has an ever-changing variety of Rowe pieces on our floor. Customers and clients love to be able to sit on and see each piece before it comes to their home. A huge part of why we keep ordering from Rowe, is due to our Rowe partnerships. Our sales rep and customer service team provide excellent customer service to us. We feel so lucky!

What's the most memorable moment that has occurred in your shop?

As of late, one of the most memorable moments was having one of our very own customers win the Neval Sectional! The couple was extremely surprised and appreciative when we contacted them with the good news! We love being able to partner with Rowe to promote their furniture in a special way.

Why is your location the perfect fit for your shop?

We have been lucky enough to be in the same location for over 20 years! We love our little community of downtown Plymouth. Our town is filled with small shops of all kinds, parks and restaurants! Many of our customers have found us simply because they grabbed a coffee across the street or met a friend for lunch around the corner and popped in to check us out. Our town is loyal and supports its downtown area. We are fortunate to be a part of the Plymouth community.

Who’s your celebrity dream customer?

A dream customer would have to be Paul McCartney! It would be amazing to meet a Beatle!!!!
