Lee Douglas Interiors was founded in 1989 in Lincoln, NE and expanded to Omaha in 2013. A member of the Rowe family of retailers for 10 years, they are a unique retail destination, as well as a full service commercial & residential design firm. Lee Douglas offers a resource library to other designers, staging to realtors, and virtual, in-store and in-home consultations to clients. For over thirty years, they have created environments and spaces that fully express their clients’ wishes and vision.

  • Shop small first. The holidays are fast approaching and we will all be buying gifts for friends and loved one. Shop your local small businesses and allow them the opportunity to have your business first.
  • Write a positive review on Google, Facebook, Yelp, etc. All reviews help customers make a judgement as to where to buy. A positive review can make a huge difference to a small shop!
  • Be patient. Small shops may be having a tough time keeping merchandise in, so stay patient and understanding with your orders.

What makes your shop unique?

We are a unique hybrid of showroom, design library, and interior design studio. We are open to the public, and we support other interior designers and builders who may not have the relationships that we have fostered for more than thirty years of business. Our vast design library is open to other interior designers that may not have access to the resources that we do. We pride ourselves in providing unique furnishings in our showroom and a level of service that exceeds expectations.

How does your shop make customers feel?

We focus on a sensory experience in our showrooms (all five senses). As soon as you walk in you are met by the scent of our candles burning, the sound of our unique music playlist, the visual of the inspirational showroom vignettes which lure you in to touch and test things out...and our signature red hot fireballs that are sure to wake up your taste buds!

A beat-heavy, eclectic mix.

What are you looking forward to showcasing next season?

We love sourcing unique products and featuring unexpected pieces in our showroom. For example, we are anticipating a leopard print sofa coming in from Rowe.

Who’s your celebrity dream customer?

It would be a tie between Angelina Jolie and Ruth Bader Ginsberg. They are independent women with strong ethics for humanitarianism, and a strong sense of self and style.
