Shop by Salt is a brick & mortar retail destination by Fairhaven, New Jersey-based design firm Salt Design Co. Opened in 2014, Salt has been a member of the Rowe family of retailers for nearly five years, incorporating our furnishings into timeless interiors for clients all across the greater NYC area. Owner Sarah Brady has curated a selection of interesting, fresh designer home furnishings inspired by the simplicity of life at the beach, offering an array of quality, custom products along with their complimentary product consultations & in-home styling services.

How does your shop make customers feel?

Our shop is fresh yet cozy all at the same time. Customers immediately can envision the way our products will look and feel in their home.

What's on your store playlist?

Some Pandora stations we love listening to in the shop are Vance Joy, Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison, and The Shins.

What are you looking forward to showcasing next season?

Lots of cozy texture and ways to give your home a refresh for fall. We are spending so much time at home these days, it's important to make the space functional but also warm and relaxing.

What do you love about working with Rowe?

One of the things we love about working with Rowe is that they offer more than just a product. When customers buy a piece from Rowe they are not only getting a quality product, but also a vision and experience.

What's the most memorable moment that has occurred in your shop?

It's hard to pinpoint just one memorable moment. Some of our favorite times in the store are when we open our doors to the community for an in-store event. This gives us a chance to get to know our community more and to speak about the brands that we love…like Rowe!

Why is your location the perfect fit for your shop?

Shop by Salt is located in the central part of Fair Haven, New Jersey. We are bookended by bustling neighboring towns, so we are fortunate to get not only drive-by traffic but also walking traffic. Our community is dedicated to supporting the community and shopping local. Clients are always spreading the word to friends on the amazing assortment of product that is carried at Shop by Salt.
